Wine Mower Stovepipe Pong

The Junior Mrs presents16 brand new tracks of original genre-spanning music from the trio’s kaleidoscopic knowledge of popular culture and arcane history. Inspired by everything from “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” to “Hamilton,” these 16 songs are full of Easter eggs and references going back to the dawn of the recording industry.

There’s the Steely Dan-inspired take on onscreen nudity called “Boobywork, the pro-climate-change Talking Heads-like anthem “Private Jet”, and the Disco-era story of man and woman that is “Sorry to Say”. All this, plus Country, Prog Rock, New Wave, Punk, Americana, and, of course, a very British version of “Hamilton” called “Stovepipe Full of Dreams,” a tribute to the late great Isambard Kingdom Brunel. Out now on vinyl, CD, and digital download.
